Be part of something awesome.
God is calling us home to the family He meant for us from the beginning, and the adoption process is simple:
Hear the Gospel of Christ and believe it with your heart, thoughts, and actions;
Turn your heart away from sin and toward righteousness;
Declare that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died on the cross and was resurrected by God the Father;
Be made new in the waters of baptism and receive your place at God's family table.
Joining a church is a commitment to be a part of something both practical and spiritual, to serve rather than be served.
We believe that placing membership with a church is both a joyful event and a serious decision, and we encourage you to take our CORE 101 class in order to find out what being a Christ-follower and a Bellwood family member is all about.
When you join the Bellwood family, you make the commitment to:
- Be a unifying church member.
- Make church about God's plans rather than my preferences.
- Pray for the church leaders.
- Lead my family to be healthy church members through my example.
- Be will be a functioning member, using my unique gifts to serve the Kingdom.
- Treasure church membership as a gift.
Based on the 6 principles found in the book, "I am a church member," by Thom Rainer.
There are plenty of ways you can get involved here at Bellwood. Join or host a Discipleship group,
sign up for a ministry team, be a part of our outreach focus group, or volunteer for regular or special events.
You are an integral part of our simple, vibrant church; making disciples and expanding the Kingdom.
